and the ERFP Secretariat have to sign the EUGENA
To participate in EUGENA, the ERFP Member Country
The host institution of the candidate gene bank completes a Declaration of commitment and provides it to the NC or other valid competent authority in the country.
The NC or other valid competent authority in the country (in case NC has not legal competences under the national rules) nominates a host institution as EUGENA member by presenting to ERFP secretariat the completed Statement for genebank nomination and Declaration of commitment.
The NC or other valid competent authority in the country fills a EUGENA – Statement for genebank nomination
If this is the first gene bank member from a given country, the enrollment of the respective country in EUGENA is automatically recognized.
