First update in 2024 and new species in EUGENA

The Centre for Genetic Resources, the Netherlands (CGN) of Wageningen University & Research was the first gene bank providing data update in 2024. The collection of the largest gene bank in EUGENA comprises 547886 samples from 154 breeds of 11 species. With this update, new species are listed in EUGENA, as the database now contains information about samples from 5 pigeon breeds.
